The opportunity

We are seeking qualified Plumbers to become essential members of maintenance and installation teams. These roles are vital in ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing systems across various businesses, covering responsibilities in installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, waste, and heating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and waste management systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and fix potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local plumbing codes.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues, ensuring optimal operation.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and practices.

About you

• Certification in Plumbing (Cert III or higher) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally in a commercial, industrial, or agricultural setting.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, blueprints, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license; additional certifications such as Backflow Prevention or Gas Fitting preferred.

Additional information

• Roles involve standard Monday to Friday schedules or shift work for 24-hour plants, with optional weekend and on-call duties.
• Prior to commencement, a pre-employment functional assessment, Drug and Alcohol testing, and Q Fever vaccination are required for some roles.
